Short update today because of bad internet connections. Can't upload any pictures but hoping I'll be able to fix that for tomorrow.
Went to have dinner with a Nepalease family yesterday and it ended up being the best experience so far of this trip. I was given very spicy food and got to meet the entire family which consists of about 15 people all together. Everyone was very nice to me and some of them spoke a bit of English while others tried to communicate in Nepali instead. It was an amazing day and I will put the pictures up as soon as I have a chance.
Today I've been at a temple and almost been attacked by monkeys, an interesting day which I'll tell you all about as soon as I can find the time and a good internet cafe.
Tomorrow I'm leaving Kathmandu for the national park in Chitwan. The bus ride there will take us about 5 hours and I'm going together with some other volunteers from the hostel. I'm hoping to see some tigers in Chitwan (Johanna, I promise to take pictures) and have been told we will get to ride an elephant and wash an elephant (not sure if you want to see pictures of that...). Now it's time to get back out in the rain to the hostel and hopefully have my second (and last) language lesson!
Miss you all!
